Today i persuaded the entire family to go out for dinner so that our house can be in total darkness for the cause of earth hour.(Thank god for the hippy-sylvia's sms,if not i would have forgotten) We went to Causeway and i was in the middle of eating my really nice sabba(?) fish when the lights at banquet went off. At first i thought "What an apt day to have a blackout" but then i realised "Ohhh,theyre doing earth hour too." but 10 mins later the lights went on again. TSKTSK. they do realise its earth HOUR,not earth 10 MINS right? Although,i do believe that earth hour serves the purpose of conserving way better than LIVE:EARTH did. Given,at a household basis an hour of darkness doesnt really change much but with the participation of buildings in the city areas all around the world,i think it's really awesome! all that sudden reduction in light pollution!If only earth hour was longer,than maybe us city dwellers can have the opportunity of seeing the 'real' sky longer! id give a lot if i we could go to CBD and see millions of stars just like that.Although some people might say earth hour doesnt really help,but i think its been really amazing at making people more earth-aware. My little siblings surprised me today when they talked so passionately about earth hour and making sure we had ALL the electrical switches off before we went out.and my youngest brother is only 8! awwh,i am now a proud geogy sister.

Yesterday was speech day,and aside from all the bloated,retarded,wannabe-mafia teachers that i loathe in the school,i think the speech day was kinda well-run. Especially the parade part coz it was really elaborate! (GO ET AND MS PAY! LOL) Shubaa is amazing for mentioning me and ruohan in her speech. (ALL HAIL SHUBAA! PLZ DONT BE SO SAD IN AJ,YOU STILL HAVE USSS :D) I also had fun with the old retards as usual. We had our ritual of going around taking pictures with everyone after a school event ended. me and ruohan were the first ones to get to the reception area so we could grap our unagi sushi. we pwn everybody : D! oh,we saw ms loh chin ee too! wahh, she's like my second life-hero so it was really nice meeting her!
